Whole Steers / Large Orders of Beef

Half Steers / Quarter Steers
For all medium-sized orders (half steers and quarter steers) you will need to arrange pickup with our local butcher. For questions regarding the location of the butcher, please fill out the inquiry form located at the bottom of this page.
Small Orders of Beef
We do not currently ship or deliver small orders–but you can easily pick up your product at Arndt Farms by appointment. You will be contacted after your payment is received to schedule pickup.

The price for whole steer, 1/2 steer or 1/4 steer is $2.75/lb dressed weight (see above), paid to Arndt Farms. The purchaser will have an additional cost paid to the processor for butchering, cut, wrap and freeze. This is typically around $0.90/lb.
Each purchaser will provide cutting specifications to the butcher. This allows you to choose the cuts of meat you plan to receive and/or the thickness of those cuts.
